More fall vibes abound with Novo Amor’s new album Cannot Be, Whatsoever. If you’re a fan of Bon Iver’s incredible For Emma, Forever Ago album, you’re going to want to press play on this one. This Welsh musician from Aberystwyth offers crescendoing brass instrumentation and drumming that builds behind his soothing falsetto vocal and acoustic guitar strumming. While many of the songs are the slow, indie-acoustic vibe you know and love, a few take a more upbeat turn in songs like “Halloween” and “I Feel Better” that add some well-placed variety to the mix.
